The Blue Cedar is just minutes away from many of the Cape's attractions. In addition,
our central location means that a short drive can open up opportunities to see all parts
of the Cape.
Beaches - Brewster has several beaches on Cape Cod Bay and fresh water ponds (there are
about as many ponds on the Cape as days in the year). Adjoining towns have beaches on the ocean and
bay, which are open to the public. The National Seashore is located 20 minutes away.
Golf - there are 3 courses in the town of Brewster and more than 30 on the Cape.
Parks - Drummer Boy - the Blue Cedar is located next to the Drummer Boy Park with the
Higgins Farm Wind Mill and the Harris Black House, both circa 1795. Band concerts are presented
every Sunday night in the summer.
Nickerson State Park - located in Brewster, the park offers cycling, swimming, hiking, fishing,
picnicking and boating.
Fine Restaurants - to suit every taste, from French cuisine, to a wide range of
ethnic dishes to hamburgers and lobster rolls. And, of course, the Cape offers every

Bike Trails - the 27 mile Cape Cod Rail Trail runs through Brewster.
Museums - the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History is located in Brewster. Guided nature
walks are fun and educational. Many other historical and natural history museums are located
nearby.
Theatre - several year round and summer stock companies are located in and near Brewster.
